
Meditation is a calm and alert state of mind. It is when the body is relaxed and the mind is focused. Our thoughts drop aside and we are at one with the sensations and present moment awareness, for healing to take place.
Why Meditate?
- Meditation relaxes the body & mind – unwinding the body & switches off the ‘chattering of the mind’.
- By being relaxed each day, stress is reduced and our health enhanced.
- Improves performance, concentration and creativity.
- Reduces anger – able to deal with day to day things in a calm controlled manner.
- Meditators often look younger than their age!
- Generally after 4 weeks of continued practice, there is a great improvement in health and well-being.
You can meditate by sitting, walking, standing or lying down, whichever is comfortable for you.
Meditation is being relaxed and in tune with ourselves emotionally and physically through the day, so we can lead a healthy life.
I will walk you, step-by-step, through deep breathing exercises, relaxation, guided meditations, and an inspirational journey towards aiding you in taking control of your emotions and state of happiness.
If you would like to learn to be able to relax your body, re-energise, clear your mind of negative thoughts, and solve your own problems, then join me either on a one to one basis with hourly meditation sessions personalised to you, or come and join one of my small classes, being with like minded people, on a weekly or monthly basis. There are also morning Workshops running throughout the year, where you can learn how easy it is to incorporate meditation into your everyday life, and discover which techniques work best for you in this relaxed and friendly environment.
